CRYO

Every epoch gets colder.

Cryo introduces a new primitive for programmable scarcity, powered by the B20 Standard.

The supply won't grow. It freezes.

01The thesis

Most tokens inflate.
Cryo does the opposite.

Emission schedules, unlocks, perpetual rewards — the default gravity of crypto is more supply, forever. Cryo inverts it. CRYO is a fixed-supply B20 token whose circulating supply moves in one direction only: down.

As holders freeze, tokens leave circulation and stay out. Nothing is minted, nothing is burned into the void — supply is simply locked colder over time. Scarcity stops being a promise in a whitepaper and becomes something you can program.

FIXED Total supply. No mint function.

02The Glacier

Freeze CRYO.
Earn Frost.

The Glacier is where CRYO goes to get cold. Freeze your tokens and they're removed from circulation — pulled out of the liquid market and into the ice.

Frozen CRYO earns Frost: rewards streamed continuously from a pre-allocated Frost Reserve. Total supply never grows. Frost isn't printed — it's redistributed and locked, flowing from the reserve to the holders who commit to the cold.

  • Freeze to exit circulation instantly
  • Frost streams block-by-block from the Reserve
  • Zero new supply — pure redistribution

03Temperature

Time is measured in cold.

Cryo splits time into epochs. Every epoch, the protocol gets colder — and the colder it gets, the higher the Frost multiplier on every frozen position. The incentive to freeze doesn't decay. It intensifies, asymptoting toward absolute zero.

04Depth & Meltwater

Choose your depth.

When you freeze, you pick a depth — a lock commitment. Shallow ice thaws sooner and earns a gentle Frost weight; deep ice commits longer and earns far more.

Thaw early and you forfeit meltwater: a penalty carved from your position. But meltwater doesn't leak out of the system — it refreezes into the Glacier, redistributed to everyone still frozen. Scarcity never escapes.

Surface short lock · gentle Frost ×1.0
Drift medium lock · steady Frost ×1.6
Deep Ice long lock · heavy Frost ×2.7
Permafrost permanent · maximum Frost ×MAX
Early thaw → meltwater refreezes for everyone below
05Permafrost

The deepest tier.
Locked forever.

Freeze deep enough, long enough, and a position crosses into permafrost: permanently locked, carrying maximum Frost weight, and marking a permanent reduction of circulating supply. Permafrost never thaws. It is scarcity made irreversible — the coldest commitment Cryo can hold.

Permanent lock Maximum Frost weight Supply removed for good
06The Ice Ratio

One number. It only goes up.

The Ice Ratio is Cryo's headline metric: frozen ÷ total supply. As the Glacier grows and permafrost accumulates, the ratio climbs — and it is designed never to fall.

07Powered by B20

Built on the B20 Standard.

Cryo is a native B20 token on Base — fixed supply, no mint function, standard-compliant by construction. The scarcity guarantees aren't marketing; they're enforced at the token layer.
